May has come to an end and June 2026 start tomorrow on a Monday!!! The first part of the month always seems to be the busiest when it comes to court dates. Below is just a few tips to make sure that you get the most out of court with the least issues.
No surprise here, be there! Next be early and never in time but early. Use the old saying “15 minutes early is on time and on time is late” Judges these days if you are late will make you wait until the very end of the docket. Do not cost yourself more time in court than needed.
Now let’s address your appearance. Do the best that you can, no shirts, flip flops or offensive or revealing clothing. Another old saying that helps remember this >>> people lives change for the good or the bad in a court of law so be respectful in appearance.
Know that the date is for. If it is an arrangement date then there is not going to be a trial. This means the judge is just going to ask guilty or not guilty with no discussion of case. Judge is not going to hear anything about it, simple arraignment date. Trial dates are for the alleged crimes when matters are resolved not on arraignment dates unless you plead guilty.
Infiniti’s a trial date???? Be sure that you have checked in with your private attorney or public defender upon arrival. This will make sure that everyone is on the same page.
If you have children? Mainly a baby do your best to try and get child care if you have court. Children really do nit need to be in court if not needed. They get restless of the process and can make your day in court more stressful than needed.
Always remember this, going to court is always better than missing court. Missing court will only cause more fines and possibly more time in jail for the fail to appear. Never ever panic, know the process and handle the process with the above tips!!
Have a great Sunday everyone and remember that Triple R Bail Bonds is always here to help!!
